Trip to Williamsburg - December 2004

The seconde OIB trip to Williamsburg was a resounding success. The first two days were spent in Williamsburg where the students learned the minuet, how to curtesy, how to dress, and how to behave in the eighteenth-century.     The third day found us back in the seventeenth-century at Jamestown, Virginia. The fourth day found us in William and Mary college and having a last glimpse of Williamsburg. We ate new foods by candlelight, we attended a candle-lit eighteenth-century concert played on eighteenth-century instruments in the Capitol. We sang, laughed, and learned quite a bit. It was a wonderful experience!
