FUNDRAISING 2006 2007


Earlier in the year, the Lycée Rochambeau community was asked to embrace a plan to help increase the school’s revenues through philanthropy.  Faced with pressing needs to upgrade facilities and equipment, expand academic and extra-curricular programs, the Lycée Rochambeau community has embarked on a journey that will generate a new source of revenue which will enable us to prepare judiciously for our future.

In our inaugural year of implementing a strategic fundraising plan, we are grateful and would like to thank the many parents, friends, teachers and staff of the Lycée Rochambeau community who have contributed so generously to our fundraising efforts.   

  • Our annual giving program was launched in March and to date we have raised $ 13,675 dollars from 36 contributions.
  • The 7th annual Gala and silent auction was held on May 11, 2007 and we raised $ 7,080  from ticket sales, $12, 273 from the silent auction and received $4,325 in cash gifts to support this important tradition. 

The funds from the aforementioned initiatives combined with the proceeds from the Winter Fair bring this school year’s fundraising total to $ 45,490.  This compares to $25,000 raised during the last school year, with the Fiftieth anniversary auction and the and the Winter Fair.  Congratulations, Lycée Rochambeau! 

Annual giving is foundational to any successful fundraising program. As a reminder, yearly gifts of all sizes pool together, forming a fund that will allow the Lycée to make vital improvements to our children’s educational experience.  Please remember that every gift counts and, that your philanthropic support to is essential to the future development of our school.  Rest assured, you will you will have the pleasure of seeing your investment at work. The funds raised this year will be used to support our sports program.
