CONGRATULATIONS TO THE 2002/2003 staff of Recto Verso!
The French International School's literary magazine has won a SECOND
PLACE award in the literary magazine competition of the Maryland Scholastic
Press Association 2003 Journalism Contest.
This contest is sponsored each year by the Philip Merrill College of
Journalism at the University of Maryland and has categories in high
school newspapers, yearbooks and literary magazines.
We were competing
against schools throughout the state of Maryland.
We rated an overall score of 88 for our publication for the second
place category, edging out much larger schools (which also have more
established, long-time publications) like Winston Churchill High School
in Potomac, Rockville High School and a large public high school in
Baltimore.
Félicitations !! We should all be very proud of this well-deserved
distinction!
WELL DONE !!
