The 5e field trip to New York City...

h2>was a great adventure!  We left the Lycee very early on Thursday, April 12th and arrived at Battery Park just in time to take the ferry over to Ellis Island.  We admired the Statue of Liberty as we ate our lunches.  At Ellis Island there were many interesting exhibits about immigration.  That evening we strolled along one of the most famous avenues in the world--Broadway.  Our adventure continued throughout the evening as we roared with delight and laughter at the performance of the Lion King.  The next day we visited the famous medieval Cloisters Museum in Fort Tyrone Park.  We arrived back in Bethesda safe and sound and exhausted on Friday just in time for dinner.  Thank you so much Mrs. Bres, Ms. Finney, Mr. Oualouane, and Mr. Percy for organizing such a great trip for all of us!
