Map

ARRIVAL

Students who arrive by car must be dropped off at the Shelter on access road starting Monday, March 13 th . Cars will enter from Montgomery Road to access road, drop off the children and proceed to Forest Road , turn left and depart. There will be no access for cars dropping off students into the circle area from 7:50 AM – 8:40 AM. Mr. Kimsey will be at the shelter, as usual to greet students. Students will walk via the sidewalk and path along Forest Road to the school buildings.

Buses will arrive at the regular times and proceed to the main circle, drop off the students and depart via Forest Road .

DISMISSAL

The bus dismissal will take place around the circle. At 3:30 and at 5:30 PM all bus students will leave the buildings and find their bus that will be parked along the sidewalk around the circle.  They must board the bus and remain until all buses are ready to depart. (at approximately3:40 and 5:40) Any faculty and staff parked in front of the administration and high school should remember that they cannot move their cars between 3:10 and 3:45 or 5:00 and 5:45PM.

Traffic will be stopped from entering Forest Rd at 3:15 and 5:15. NO CARS can enter for pick up.  Parents picking up by car must enter via Montgomery Rd. onto access road and park as directed by the security guards. All students who depart by car will meet parents at the shelter on access road. Cars will leave from access road via Forest Rd.

ALL drivers picking up students must meet them along access road; all students who ride cars must meet their cars at the access road. Teachers will walk the young children to the dismissal shelter on access road. There will be two security guards to direct traffic as well as adults from the school to assist the students.

Rational:

We anticipate some rough spots as we put this into practice however we request everyone's patience and cooperation as we try to adjust to a new, necessary procedure.  It is necessary because during the demolition of the old building and construction of the new field, there will be a conflict of space between all 15 buses and the many large trucks, new underground pipes and site work that will take place in the back area.
