Founded in 1955 and located in Bethesda, Maryland, Rochambeau provides a French and International education for students from age 2 through 12th grade.
Our diverse community brings together families from more than 80 nationalities across Washington, DC, Maryland, and Virginia.

Nos élèves de Grande Section ont célébré leur remise de diplômes lors d'une cérémonie émouvante. Ils ont reçu leurs diplômes et partagé de beaux moments avec leurs familles, leurs enseignants et leurs camarades. Félicitations à nos petits diplômés qui s'apprêtent à entamer une nouvelle étape de leur parcours en Cours Préparatoire !
Our GS students celebrated their graduation with a special ceremony. They received their diplomas and shared memorable moments with family, teachers, and friends. Congratulations to our little graduates as they begin their next chapter in CP (1st grade)!

Des élèves de 4e en SIA English ont récemment créé une exposition intitulée Footsteps Toward Freedom: Honoring Local Lives, qui est présentée au Josiah Henson Museum. À travers des œuvres artistiques et un site internet, ils ont partagé les histoires de personnes locales dont les contributions sont souvent oubliées. L’exposition sera visible jusqu’en septembre 2026 et intégrera la collection permanente du musée. Allez y jeter un oeil cet été !
As part of a meaningful SIA English project, some 8th grade students created Footsteps Toward Freedom: Honoring Local Lives, an exhibit at the Josiah Henson Museum. Through artwork and a website, they highlighted the stories of local individuals whose contributions are often overlooked. The exhibit will be on display through September 2026 and will become part of the museum’s permanent collection. Visitors are encouraged to stop by this summer!
