Nous sommes fiers de notre jeune écrivaine ! Félicitations Samantha pour cette remarquable réalisation !
Rochambeau se joint à son professeur, William Percy, pour féliciter Samantha Pressman, qui, suite à la réception d'un prix d'écriture de science-fiction en anglais, voit son écrit publié dans le livre MISSION CONTAMINATION - MARYLAND TALES, dont un exemplaire est maintenant disponible au CDI !
Au printemps 2019, en classe d'anglais de 5e, Samantha a écrit et soumis une nouvelle au concours Young Writers' "Survival Sagas" : Mission Contamination". Plus de 10 000 nouvelles de collégiens de tout les Etats-Unis ont été reçues, chacune contenant exactement 100 mots sur une situation imaginaire de contamination/virus. Le récit de Samantha ("Where's the Cocktail Sauce?") a été sélectionné dans le cadre d'une collection publiée cette année.

Along with her teacher, William Percy, we proudly share the news that Samantha's oustanding writing has been published in the book MISSION CONTAMINATION - MARYLAND TALES, following her recognition with a "Talent for Writing" award. This new book is now available in our school library!
During 2019 spring, while in 7th grade English Honors class, Samantha submitted a short story to the Young Writers' "Survival Sagas: Mission Contamination" contest. Over 10,000 middle school entries from around the country were submitted, each a mini-saga containing exactly 100 words about an imaginary contamination/virus situation. Samantha's story, "Where's the Cocktail Sauce?", was selected to be included in a collection of essays published this year.
