In case of inclement weather (snow, ice, wind...) or school closures, the school administration will follow the decisions of Montgomery County.
In case of a school closure, delay or early release, parents will be informed by text and email. Notifications will also be posted on the school website, on Facebook and Instagram.
We also advise that you register to receive the alerts from Montgomery County. Both campuses will be following the same decisions.
School Inclement Weather Policy
Following a community survey conducted in 2024, our school's snow day policy ensures the continuity of education for our students :
- Secondary School (Grades 6-12): If a school closure is announced or predicted the day before, all secondary students will transition to remote learning. Teachers will communicate details about virtual sessions and assignments directly to students.
- Primary School (Grades PreK-5):
- Nursery-Grade 2: Students will have a regular snow day (no school - the lost days will be made up on the scheduled make-up days included in the school calendar).
- Grades 3-5: Students will shift to remote learning. Teachers will provide instructions and assignments through digital platforms.
We will communicate any necessary preparations, such as device distribution or virtual class schedules, in advance.
