Le mardi 5 mai, les élèves de CM2 et de 6e se sont réunis pour la 6e édition du tournoi annuel Capture the Flag de Rochambeau.

Sous un beau soleil, ils ont profité d’une journée de compétition amicale, de travail d’équipe et de fair-play.

Le jeu oppose deux équipes qui doivent capturer le drapeau adverse et le ramener dans leur camp sans se faire toucher. Les joueurs touchés en territoire adverse vont en prison mais peuvent être libérés par leurs coéquipiers, et un seul attaquant à la fois peut accéder à la zone du drapeau sous des règles strictes. Chaque capture rapporte un point, puis les équipes se réinitialisent et changent de côté.

Félicitations à la classe de 6e 3, gagnante du tournoi, et à la classe de CM2 B, récompensée par le prix du fair-play pour leur excellent esprit sportif.

 

 

Un grand merci à l'association PAR pour le financement des ceintures de flag, des récompenses, médailles et trophées, ainsi qu’aux élèves de Première pour leur rôle d’arbitres. Bravo à l'équipe d'EPS pour cette belle 6e édition réussie, avec un excellent souvenir pour nos élèves !

On Tuesday, May 5, CM2 and 6th-grade students came together for the 6th edition of Rochambeau’s annual Capture the Flag Tournament. Under beautiful sunshine, students enjoyed a day of friendly competition, teamwork, and fair play.

 

 

The game is simple: two teams try to capture the opposing flag and bring it back to their territory without being tagged. Players tagged in enemy territory go to prison but can be freed by teammates, while only one attacker at a time may enter the flag zone under strict rules. Each successful capture earns a point, after which teams reset and switch sides. Blocking, passing the flag, or re-entering a zone just left is not allowed. Throughout the tournament, students demonstrated great sportsmanship, strategy, and collaboration as they competed to capture the opposing team's flag and bring it safely back to their territory.

 

Congratulations to 6e3, winners of this year’s tournament, and to CM2 B, recipients of the Fair Play Award for their outstanding sportsmanship.

A special thank you goes to the PAR Association for sponsoring the flag belts, awards, medals, and trophies, as well as to the Première students for serving as referees.

Thanks to the PE team dedication, this 6th edition was another great success and a memorable experience for our students.
