Le U.S. Presidential Scholars Program a été créé en 1964, par décret présidentiel, afin de reconnaître et d'honorer certains des élèves de terminale les plus distingués des États-Unis. Chaque année, jusqu'à 161 élèves sont nommés Presidential Scholars, l'une des plus hautes distinctions nationales pour les lycéens.

Félicitations à Sena Williams, élève de Terminale à Rochambeau, qui a été invitée à candidater au titre de "US Presidential Scholars Award", notamment grâce à son très haut score au SAT !

La candidature se fait uniquement sur invitation. 

La liste initiale de 4 000 élèves est composée des 20 meilleurs garçons et des 20 meilleures filles ayant passé les examens SAT et ACT dans chaque État.

Application for the U.S. Presidential Scholars Program is by invitation only. 

The initial list of 4000 students is made up of the top 20 male and top 20 female takers of the SAT and ACT in each state.
