Afin de mieux comprendre ce jour d'investiture présidentielle aux Etats-Unis, le service communication, les professeur.e.s d'histoire-géographie et les documentalistes vous ont sélectionné quelques ressources, pour les parents et les élèves.
In order to better understand this day of Presidential Inauguration in the United States, our Communication Department, History and Geography teachers, and librarians have selected a few resources for parents and students.
- How to watch the ceremony: Presidential Inaugural Committee
- Youth programming begins at 10:00 am
- General audience live coverage begins at 10:30am
- Oath of Office expected to be administered shortly before 12:00 pm
- National Endowment for the Arts: Activities and resources by grade levels
- Joint Congressional Committee on Inaugural Ceremonies: Learn about the Inauguration on Jan 20, 2021 as well as the history of ceremonies dating back to 1789.
- Library of Congress: Digital collection of Presidential Inaugurations - speeches, official records, photos
- Inaugural Addresses of all US Presidents (Transcripts)
- C-Span Classroom: What makes a good inaugural address? (video and other links)
