• Les élèves doivent apporter leur cartable/sac, leur trousse à crayons, leur déjeuner et leur goûter. Dans la mesure du possible, évitez les aliments contenant des noix, des arachides ou leurs dérivés. 

• Les élèves doivent apporter un carnet ou du papier et un crayon. Pas de fournitures en particulier.  Il n'est pas nécessaire que les élèves apportent leurs manuels scolaires. 

• Les professeurs principaux accueilleront les élèves de 8h25 à 10h20.  Les horaires de cours entreront en vigueur à partir de 10h40. 

• Students must bring a school bag, pencil case and have their own lunch and snacks. Please avoid sending foods containing nuts, peanuts or any of their derivatives. 

• Students should bring paper or a notebook, and pencils. No special supplies are required.  This first day is primarily a day for introductions and building connections. It is not necessary for students to bring textbooks on the first day. 

• In the morning, the homeroom teachers and the Vie Scolaire will assist students during the first back to school day. The regular class schedule will start after 10:30 or 11:30, depending on the grade. 

• School ends at 3:30pm on the first day of school for all students.

Quel est le déroulement de la soirée ?

Les Disciplines présentées: toutes les disciplines présenteront leur programme à l’exception des cours facultatifs. Les professeurs de ces cours enverront aux familles concernées un courrier d’introduction. 

Qu’est-ce qui sera abordé durant la réunion ?

• La réunion vous permettra de faire connaissance avec le professeur principal et son équipe, de découvrir les grandes lignes des programmes, les enseignants n’auront pas le temps de répondre aux questions particulières lors de cette soirée de présentation.
• Les présentations Powerpoint seront partagées avec les familles après les réunions.

The Back-to-School Nights will be held in person in the following locations:

• Auditorium (BF): For all grades, except for IB MYP and DP classes.
• CDI (Library): For IB MYP/DP classes.

What is the schedule for the evening?

Subjects presented: Subjects will present their programs, except for optional courses. The teachers of these courses will send an introductory letter to the families concerned.

What will be covered during the meeting?

• The meeting will allow you to get to know the homeroom teacher and his/her team, and discover the main outlines of the syllabus, Teachers will unfortunately not have time to answer specific inquiries during this presentation.
• The PowerPoint presentations will be shared with families afterward.

The class assignments and agendas will be sent to the families mid-July via email.  The placements and time tables are provisional. The final versions will be confirmed within two weeks after the start of school.

PRONOTE is a secured website for the parents and students from 6th to 12th grade. It provides them with the following information:

A username and password for the student will be sent the day before the start of school, Parent access will be sent after school starts.

Books are to be ordered on Amazon as they are mainly British or American editions. 
The only exception is for Arabic, German, or Spanish books in 3ème and 2nde MYP, which should be purchased on MaRentrée.

Books and school supplies ordered on MaRentrée will be delivered to Rochambeau in a package labeled with each child’s name and ready for pickup at the end of August before the start of school.  Detailed information about distribution will be sent in August.  Books and supplies ordered after June 18 will be delivered to the students by the Vie Scolaire after the start of school.

ALL drivers must adhere to these regulations for dropping off or picking up children and register the car tags:

• Be certain to conduct all drop-off and pick-up activities within the school gates within the Access Road parking lot or kiss-and-ride lanes. It is not permissible to drop off or pick up passengers on the adjacent streets (Beech Ave, Montgomery Drive, Forest Road, etc.) or other nearby schools (St. Jane de Chantal, BCDS, etc.).

• To enter the Access Road area, all vehicles must enter only from Montgomery Drive and exit only onto Forest Road. (See the map below for route instructions) Drivers must be attentive to the one-way route in the Access Road parking area.

• There is no exit onto Montgomery Drive from Access Road.

• Drivers should use through streets and may not cut through the nearby Maplewood Park townhouse community in order to access the campus.

• If there is a cue of vehicles on Montgomery Drive waiting to enter the Access Road lot, vehicles must not drive around stopped cars only to enter the parking area of the lot. All waiting vehicles must remain in line, on the right side of the street.

• Out of respect for our neighbors, please do not block the driveways of nearby homes or cause damage to grass or landscaping by walking or driving on private property.

• Only Rochambeau School Buses and staff members may use the drop-off lanes and parking area from the Forest Road entry point.

Transportation Info

Panier repas : Chaque élève doit apporter son déjeuner de la maison tous les jours de la semaine. N'oubliez pas que nos campus sont " sans noix " et que les repas et les collations ne doivent donc pas contenir de noix ou de produits à base de fruits à coque.

Note à propos du Programme de repas avec Balducci's : Suite à un faible taux de participation au programme et à un sondage, il a malheureusement été décidé que le programme de repas Balducci's ne serait plus proposé cette année.

Lunch box: Each student have to bring their lunch from home every day of the week. Please remember that our campuses are "nut-free" and therefore lunches and snacks should not contain nuts or nut products.

Note about the Lunch program in partnership with Balducci's: Due to a low participation rate in the program and a recent survey, it has unfortunately been decided that the Balducci's meal program will no longer be offered this year.
