Media Literacy

The theme of the Semaine des Lycées Français dans le Monde (November 28 - December 2) is MIL (Media and Information Literacy)

On this occasion, the Librarians and MIL Teachers will organize several events for the students:
  • Monday, November 28, at 3:30 p.m.:
    •  11th Graders (History and Geopolitics Option), will meet with journalist Loic de la Mornais, Washington correspondent for the France2 television channel.
  • Wednesday, November 30:
    •  The CM1C students will play the game "Classe Investigation", a journalistic game where the students must investigate and check facts so as to know the truth about a rumor
  • Thursday, December 1st:
    • The éco-délégués will meet with photojournalist Pedro Ugarte, AFP’s Photo Director for North America,  who will give them tips for the PhotODD contest (photos about sustainable development)
  • Friday, December 2nd:
    •  The 6E-2ND will also play the game "Classe Investigation".

This week will also be the opportunity for the official launching of the Rochambeau WebRadio, and to find a name and a logo for it!

Rochambeau students will investigate and interact with topics to gain an informed multicultural understanding of the world.

With the theme 'Getting informed in a connected world to train informed citizens', the 6th edition, organized from November 28 to December 3, 2022, is an opportunity to promote media and information education ( NDE). 'Year of the EMI', the whole school year has as its common thread media and information literacy.
