Teacher with students in the classroom

Registrar

The Rochambeau Registrar supports students and their families by preparing and sending out English transcripts of student records, as well as assisting students with the US high school diploma option.

The registrar helps students with application-related tasks to other universities as needed, and is the lead planner of our graduation ceremony.

A student’s transcript file includes:

  • Basic student data recorded at admission

  • Disciplinary reports + incident files

  • Attendance records

  • Academic report cards

  • Proof of residence

  • Court orders

Files are systematically reviewed when students change campus, when they leave Rochambeau or graduate.

The Registrar helps students particularly in the following areas:

  1. Providing Transcripts:
English-language official Transcripts of student records. These transcripts are recognized by all countries outside of France,

  2. College Admission:
Manages the creation and submission of all student documents required during the college admission process,

  3. US High School Diploma
Gives students individual advice and assistance as well as determining their eligibility to take the US high school diploma.

TO REQUEST A TRANSCRIPT FOR PERSONAL Or UNIVERSITY APPLICATION USE Each request has a $10 processing fee, payable online at the time of submission. Please allow up to a 20 day-processing period.

French/U.S. comparative grades

Rochambeau offers two distinct academic programs.

  • The French Baccalaureate
    • uses the French grading scale, which ranges from 0 to 20
    • Trimesters (December, March, June)
  • The International Baccalaureate
    • uses a grading scale that ranges from 1 to 7
    • Semesters (January, June)

Report cards (bulletins) are issued in at the end of each trimester or semester. For students applying to U.S. and U.K. colleges and universities, an “American style” transcript is created in which French terms and grades are translated and converted to letter grades according to the following conversion values:
