Retour sur dix jours inoubliables à Paris pour nos élèves de CM2 !

Entre les chefs-d'œuvre du Louvre, les croquis au jardin des Tuileries, la visite de l’éco-quartier des Batignolles, ou encore la découverte de l’Opéra Garnier… nos jeunes explorateurs ont vécu la capitale à 360° !

Au programme aussi : Montmartre et ses douceurs, street art dans le Marais, musée Van Gogh à Auvers-sur-Oise, comédie musicale du Roi Lion, rapaces en vol, escapade royale à Versailles, bateau-mouche sur la Seine, le Panthéon, Notre-Dame, le Jardin du Luxembourg, la Tour Eiffel illuminée…

Ainsi que des ateliers de chants lyriques, d'écriture Slam et de théâtre à la Molière, sans oublier la BOOM !

Voyage scolaire des CM2 à Paris by Rochambeau, The French International School on Exposure

 

Destination: Québec pour le voyage annuel de nos élèves de CM1 au Mont Tremblant !

Dès le lendemain de leur arrivée, les élèves ont visité la Cabane à Tuque, où ils ont participé à trois ateliers passionnants : fabrication de sirop d’érable, découverte du métier de maraîcher et initiation aux savoirs d’herboriste. Une manière immersive de se plonger dans les traditions québécoises.

Ils ont ensuite assisté à un atelier-conférence sur les Premières Nations, enrichi d’activités organisées à la base du séjour, avec un temps d’écriture dédié à leurs parents.

Le séjour s’est poursuivi avec une journée à Montréal, comprenant la visite du vieux quartier et du musée Pointe-à-Callière, avant de prendre un grand bol d’air lors d’une randonnée au Parc national du Mont-Tremblant, au cœur de paysages époustouflants.

Les CM1 ont aussi exploré les maisons en bois de Harkins, participé à des jeux en plein air et terminé leur périple par une dernière randonnée sur le sentier des Cimes.

Un voyage inoubliable qui a permis à nos élèves de tisser des liens, de s’ouvrir à une nouvelle culture et de profiter de la nature québécoise dans toute sa splendeur !

 

VOYAGE SCOLAIRE DES CM1 AU QUEBEC by Rochambeau, The French International School on Exposure

 

 

On n'oublie pas les CM qui n'ont pas pu partir en voyage !

30 élèves de CM1 et CM2 qui ne sont pas partis au Québec et à Paris ont participé à un tout autre voyage à Rochambeau :

 

 

• Découverte de Van Gogh et de Matisse
• Sorties au National Building museum, à la National Gallery of art et au National Mall
• Cuisine et chasse aux trésors
• Montage d'une pièce de théâtre qu'ils ont joué devant d'autres classes

  • Dans le cadre de la même thématique que la comédie musicale Le Roi Lion, qu'ont eu la chance de voir les élèves de CM1 et CM2 en voyage scolaire à Paris, ceux restés à l'école ont préparé et interprété une pièce de théâtre intitulée "La Couronne du Roi", écrite par M. Boulanger. Cette pièce raconte l’histoire d’un roi vieillissant qui cherche à transmettre sa couronne. Plusieurs prétendants se présentent (des éléphants, des serpents, des perroquets, des abeilles...), mais seuls ceux qui montrent sagesse, générosité et courage se distinguent. Finalement, le royaume comprend que la véritable grandeur vient du cœur et non du pouvoir.

    Les élèves ont présenté leur spectacle devant des classes de petite, moyenne et grande sections, ainsi qu’aux CP et quelques CE2. Ce fut un moment chaleureux et joyeux, autant pour les comédiens que pour leur jeune public !

Looking back on ten unforgettable days in Paris for our CM2 students!

Between masterpieces in the Louvre, sketching in the Tuileries Gardens, visiting the Batignolles eco-district, or discovering the Garnier Opera... our young explorers experienced the capital at 360°!

Also on the program: Montmartre and its delicacies, street art in the Marais, Van Gogh museum in Auvers-sur-Oise, Lion King musical, birds of prey in flight, royal escapade in Versailles, bateau-mouche on the Seine, Pantheon, Notre-Dame, Jardin du Luxembourg, illuminated Eiffel Tower....

As well as workshops in lyrical singing, Slam writing and Molière-style theater, not forgetting the BOOM (dance party)!

Destination: Quebec for our 4th graders' annual trip to Mont Tremblant!

The day after their arrival, the students visited the Cabane à Tuque, where they took part in three exciting workshops: making maple syrup, discovering the work of a market gardener, and learning the skills of a herbalist. An immersive way to immerse themselves in Quebec traditions.

They then attended a workshop-conference on the First Nations, enriched by activities organized at the base of the stay, with a writing time dedicated to their parents.

The trip continued with a day in Montreal, including a visit to the Old Quarter and the Pointe-à-Callière museum, before a breathtaking hike in Mont-Tremblant National Park.

The CM1s also explored the wooden houses of Harkins, took part in outdoor games and ended their trip with a final hike on the sentier des Cimes.

An unforgettable trip that enabled our students to forge bonds, open up to a new culture and enjoy Quebec nature in all its splendor!

We haven't forgotten the 4th/5th graders who didn't get to go on the trip!

30 CM1 and CM2 students who didn't go to Quebec and Paris took part in a completely different trip at Rochambeau:

• Discovering Van Gogh and Matisse
• Fields trips to the National Building museum, the National Gallery of art and the National Mall
• Cooking and scavenger hunts
• Putting together a play that they performed in front of other classes

  • As part of the same theme as the musical The Lion King, which CM1 and CM2 students were lucky enough to see on their school trip to Paris, those who stayed at school prepared and performed a play entitled “La Couronne du Roi” (The King's Crown), written by Mr. Boulanger. The play tells the story of an aging king who seeks to pass on his crown. Many suitors come forward (elephants, snakes, parrots, bees...), but only those who show wisdom, generosity and courage stand out. In the end, the kingdom understands that true greatness comes from the heart, not from power.

    The students presented their show to classes of preschool, as well as to CPs and some CE2s. It was a warm and joyful moment, as much for the actors as for their young audience!
