Rochambeau Financial Aid
General information
Rochambeau’s financial aid is awarded to families without any discrimination based on origin, religion, nationality, or gender. Aid is granted strictly according to financial need and may cover up to 80% of tuition, enrollment fees, transportation fees, and educational trips organized by the school.
We are committed to supporting as many families as possible within the annual financial aid budget. As a result, award amounts may vary from year to year. All interested families are encouraged to submit a financial aid application through FACTS.
All applications are reviewed by FACTS, and all submitted information remains strictly confidential. The financial aid decisions are made by the financial aid committee. For any questions regarding financial aid, please contact the Billing Office.
Supplement to French Financial Aid (AEFE)
As part of its tuition assistance policy, Rochambeau may provide supplemental financial aid to families who already receive an AEFE scholarship.
French citizens may therefore:
- Apply for a scholarship through the French Embassy or Consulate, and
- Submit a financial aid application directly to Rochambeau.
To determine their eligibility for French government scholarships, French families are strongly encouraged to review the main exclusion criteria of the French scholarship program (les principaux critères d’exclusion des bourses françaises). This will help them understand whether or not they should apply for the AEFE scholarships.
Families not eligible for French scholarships
French families who are not eligible for AEFE scholarships (according to official criteria – “les principaux critères d’exclusion des bourses françaises ”) may apply directly for Rochambeau financial aid.
They must upload documents in their FACTS file demonstrating that they are “outside the eligibility thresholds,” including:
- Mortgage statement showing accumulated equity ≥ €250,000
- Bank statements (checking, savings, money market) or retirement accounts (401(k), etc.) with a value ≥ €100,000
- Pay stubs for French government employees receiving allowances or other benefits
