At the direction of Maryland Governor Larry Hogan, our campuses will remain closed until April 25. The distance learning will continue for our students. We will continue to monitor this situation and will adjust the schedule as necessary.

Activities for students:
The French International School offers you a wide selection of afterschool activities (Club Rochambeau) as well as child care and study hall from 1st to 12th grade.
Afterschool Clubs are comprised of artistic, social and athletic activities and are available to students after their regular school hours. Certain clubs such as soccer, swimming and judo are clubs that run yearly - one registration per year at the beginning of the year. Other clubs run on a semester basis - 2 registrations per year. See description of the different clubs.
New offerings for 2019-20 include Rockclimbing, Tennis, Running Club, STEM, Multisports, Ping-pong...

Elementary school afterschool club hours : 3:35pm - 5:15pm
Secondary school afterschool club hours : 3:35pm - 5:15pm (6e-5e), 5:45pm - 7:00pm (4e-Tle).
Study Hall and Clubs fees
- Registration for Afterschool clubs is open twice a year in August and in January. Certain activities can be registered for the year.
- Registration for study hall and child care is open all year long.
- For the 2019-2020 fall semester, registration is open from Aug. 21th to Sept. 3rd.
Activities for adults:
The Rochambeau Adult Choir
The Rochambeau Adult Choir is open to all people living in the Washington, DC area. The choir sings a large repertoire from all around the world, with a special affinity for French music. We perform annually for several events related to our school: concerts, Fête de la musique (an annual celebration of music that take place in cities worldwide) at the French Embassy, Winter and Spring Fair.
We rehearse on Tuesday nights from 7:30 pm to 9 pm in the library of the Forest Road Campus.
