A Soldier's Tale is a theatrical and musical work intended to be read, played and danced as directed by the composer Igor Stravinsky. The text of Charles-Ferdinand Ramuz is a moral fable inspired by an old Russian tale. A poor soldier sells his soul (symbolized by the violin) to an old man (the Devil) against a book that predicts the future.
This performance is the result of a collaboration between the Department of Music and Theatre Department of the Lycée Rochambeau.
