StUDENT Learning SUPPORT
Student Learning Support (SLS) is a growing department at Rochambeau that is dedicated to providing academic support to students. This help can be used to address student academic issues, French language support for non native speakers, or even social and emotional needs.
The Student Learning Support team offers pertinent support services to students whether individually or in small groups, within or outside the classroom.
Our department also helps students reach their full potential in collaboration with families, teachers and outside professionals in order to identify the tools, learning plans and objectives, material and strategies that are designed to support student needs both at home and at school.
We also strive to help families and teachers understand students better by providing specialized training, workshops and relevant educational material.
The team is composed of special education teachers, French language support teachers and school counselors who work in concert with other teachers, specialists and parents for the benefit of the students.
