Fall/Winter Semester 2026-2027 Registration Timeline:

Tuesday: August 11, 2026
- TPS, PS, MS, GS, and CP registration will open at 10:00 a.m. EST
Wednesday, August 12, 2026
- CE1, CE2, CM1, and CM2 registration will open at 10:00 a.m. EST
- 6ème-3ème Collège Afterschool Supervision will open at 10:00 a.m. EST
Friday, August 14, 2026: Emails will be sent to those registered in clubs which are below the minimum registration to let them know how many more registrations are needed for that club to go forward.
Monday, August 17, 2026, 5:00 p.m.: The registration period for Before Care, Aftercare, Elementary Clubs, Homework Help, and Collège Afterschool Supervision will close at 5:00 p.m. EST. Emails will be sent to those clubs that didn’t reach the minimum registration. Affected families will have the opportunity to enroll in clubs that still have spaces available.
Tuesday, August 25, 2026: The first semester of Auxiliary Programs begins.
Further Information on secondary clubs registrations will be shared after the school year begins.

Tips for successful registration

Tips for being successful:

Create an account on CampBrain.com prior to registration day: registration instructions
A 15 min cart timer will be applied to allow families time to add all wanted sessions to the cart before making payment. Please note that if payment has not been made once the 10 mins are done, your cart items will be released and made available for other families to access.
Staff will be available by email at clubs@rochambeau.org and by phone at (301) 747-3392 to help mitigate any issues that may arise. Please understand that not all phone calls will be answered due to the influx of inquiries taking place at that time, but rest assured that staff are working diligently to get to everyone and will resolve all issues as soon as possible.

Rochambeau’s Enrichment Activities allow students to participate in various clubs, athletics, and group activities run by faculty and staff and high-quality third-party providers. Activities are broken into two semesters or full-year programs. Take a look at our Program Catalogue for details.

Before Care & Aftercare

Rochambeau’s Before care and Aftercare Programs allow students to extend their school day and learning beyond the classroom. From engaging with other students, to homework help, these programs allow our school hours to work for you and your child's needs.

Extended Day Program options may vary/change periodically. Following is a sample list of programs.

BEFORE SCHOOL CARE | GARDERIE AVANT L'ECOLE - 7:00 - 8:30 AM

HOMEWORK HELP | AIDE AUX DEVOIRS - 3:45 - 5:15 PM

AFTER SCHOOL CARE | GARDERIE APRES L'ECOLE - 3:30 - 5:30 PM (MATERNELLE); 3:45 PM - 5:15 PM (ELEMENTAIRE)

Our child care team will welcome students in a classroom where they will set up games and areas to draw, paint, and read. This session could include playground time if the weather permits. This recreational time is not formal academic instruction or structured programming (See Homework Help for academic support or Clubs for structured activities.)

At the end of the session the children are led to the appropriate area for pick up by parents or to their respective buses.

School Break Camps

School’s out so camp’s in!

Rochambeau offers childcare and school break camps on days when school is out for campers age 2 to 11. These day camps are open to Rochambeau students and are designed to get campers thinking, moving, doing, learning, having fun, and making friends! We hope you’ll join us!

Rochambeau school break camps take place on the Maplewood Campus, unless otherwise noted!

Enrichment Activities (Forest Rd Campus)

For middle school and high school students, Rochambeau’s Enrichment Activities allow students to participate in various clubs, athletics, and group activities run by faculty and staff. Activities vary in duration and eligible grade levels. Take a look at our Program Catalogue for details.

Musical Theater Club - Auditions Required

Step into the spotlight and experience the magic of musical theater! In Musical Theater Club, students will work together to create an original musical from the ground up. Throughout the year, they will imagine an original story, write the script and lyrics, compose songs, develop choreography, rehearse scenes, and bring their collective vision to life in a fully staged performance at the end of the school year. This collaborative experience introduces students to every aspect of musical theater, from storytelling and songwriting to acting, singing, dancing, and stage production. Along the way, participants will develop their creativity, confidence, and teamwork while discovering the excitement of performing before a live audience. No previous theater or musical experience is required—just enthusiasm, imagination, and a desire to create something extraordinary together!

Want to make your voice heard, express your ideas, interview others, or captivate an audience? Join the “Speak Up!” club, led by a French teacher and a teacher-librarian, which offers two complementary components to help you develop your public speaking and communication skills.

Competitive Robotics Club

Take your engineering skills to the next level with the Competitive Robotics Team, an advanced STEM club for students who are passionate about robotics, programming, and innovation. Working as a true engineering team, students will design, build, program, and test autonomous robots while preparing for regional, national, and international robotics competitions.

COP - Montreal - Knowledge Test Required

We are pleased to offer students the opportunity to participate in the COP 2027 – Food Security Conference, an international simulation inspired by the United Nations Climate Change Conferences (COP). This year's theme, Food Security, will challenge students to explore one of the most pressing issues of our time: how to ensure access to safe, nutritious, and sustainable food for a growing global population while addressing the impacts of climate change, environmental degradation, and global inequalities. The conference will take place in Montreal, Canada from January 26-29, 2027.

Theater Club

Lights, camera... action! Theater Club invites students to explore the exciting world of acting through movement, voice, improvisation, and performance. In a fun, supportive, and creative environment, students will build confidence, strengthen their communication skills, and express their imagination through theatrical games, scene work, and collaborative storytelling.

Strength Training and Conditioning

Build strength, improve performance, and train with confidence! Strength Training & Conditioning is designed for secondary school students who want to develop their physical fitness in a safe, structured, and supportive environment. Whether students are new to strength training, participate in competitive sports, or are preparing for the French Baccalauréat EPS Musculation assessment, this club provides individualized instruction to help each participant achieve their goals.
