Un excellent lancement de la saison de printemps

Le week-end dernier a une nouvelle fois mis en lumière la qualité de notre programme de football. Nos U10 EDP Future ont brillamment remporté le MDSL Spring Classic Championship, un tournoi majeur de la région réunissant plusieurs des meilleures académies locales.
Nous sommes extrêmement fiers de nos jeunes U10 et remercions chaleureusement Coach Yassine pour l’énorme travail réalisé avec cette équipe.

Dans le même temps, nos U13 EDP, avant d’entamer leur saison officielle, participaient au très relevé Baltimore Mania Tournament. Après un très beau parcours, nos U13 se sont inclinés en demi-finale sur le plus petit score (1-0) face à une équipe classée parmi les six meilleures du Maryland. Une performance très encourageante pour ce groupe prometteur qui s’apprête à débuter sa saison de printemps.

La saison officielle de football débutera ce samedi 28 mars, avec pas moins de 38 matchs programmés sur le week-end. Nous souhaitons beaucoup de réussite à nos 26 équipes de soccer et à plus de 400 joueurs pour ce lancement de la saison de printemps.

 

Le volleyball poursuit sa dynamique positive

Côté volleyball, notre équipe Varsity garçons a remporté sa troisième victoire consécutive, avec un succès net 3-0 contre JDS. L’équipe reste toujours invaincue et n’a concédé aucun set depuis le début de la ligue ISBVL, confirmant son excellent début de saison.

C’était également l’entrée en lice de notre équipe High School Coed, composée de garçons et de filles du lycée. Opposée à la British School, reconnue pour la qualité de son programme de volleyball, notre équipe s’est imposée avec autorité 3 sets à 1 pour son premier match de la saison.

Notre équipe Varsity garçons disputera son quatrième match de la saison jeudi prochain contre DCI, à 17h30 à Rochambeau.

Venez nombreux encourager l’équipe, c’est un groupe particulièrement agréable à voir jouer cette année !

A Strong Start to the Spring Season

Last weekend once again highlighted the high caliber of our soccer program. Our U10 EDP Future team put on a brilliant performance to win the MDSL Spring Classic Championship, a premier regional tournament featuring many of the area’s top academies. We are incredibly proud of our young U10 players and extend a warm thank you to Coach Yassine for his outstanding work with this team.

Meanwhile, our U13 EDP squad competed in the highly competitive Baltimore Mania Tournament as a final tune-up before their official season begins. After an impressive run, the U13s fell in the semifinals by a narrow 1-0 margin against one of the top six teams in Maryland. It was a very encouraging performance from this promising group as they head into league play.

The official soccer season kicks off this Saturday, March 28, with no fewer than 38 matches scheduled across the weekend. We wish the best of luck to our 26 teams and over 400 players as they begin their Spring campaigns!

 

Volleyball Maintains Its Momentum

On the volleyball court, our Boys Varsity team secured its third consecutive victory with a clean 3-0 sweep against JDS. The team remains undefeated and has yet to drop a single set in the ISBVL league, confirming their dominant start to the season.

It was also the season opener for our High School Coed team, featuring both boys and girls from the lycée. Facing the British School—known for their strong volleyball program—our team delivered a commanding 3-1 victory to start their year on a high note.

 

Upcoming Games

Our Boys Varsity team will play their fourth match of the season next Thursday against DCI at 5:30 PM at Rochambeau. Come out and support the team! This group is a lot of fun to watch this year.
