Cap sur le Secondaire : Une célébration inoubliable pour nos CM2 !
Le grand jour est arrivé pour nos 87 élèves de CM2 ! C'est avec une immense fierté et beaucoup d'émotion que l'école a célébré leur passage vers le secondaire. Retour sur une journée riche en rituels et en sourires.
Les premiers pas d'une nouvelle étape
C'est dans leurs classes, entourés de leurs enseignant·e·s, que nos futurs collégiens ont revêtu pour la toute première fois la nouvelle cravate Rochambeau, leur future alliée pour les grands événements du secondaire, ainsi que la toque de diplômé. Ceux qui sont à Rochambeau depuis la PS ont reçu la traditionnelle écharpe dorée « Rochambeau Forever ». Un moment de préparation solennel et complice.
Une haie d'honneur mémorable
Du 4e étage jusqu'au rez-de-chaussée, nos jeunes diplômés ont entamé une procession triomphale à travers tout l'établissement. Ils ont traversé les couloirs sous les applaudissements nourris et les regards admiratifs de leurs camarades, de la Maternelle au CM1.
À la sortie du bâtiment, la surprise était au rendez-vous : notre chère mascotte les attendait de pied ferme pour un festival de high-fives et de hugs chaleureux !
La cérémonie officielle : Félicitations à nos diplômés !
Après une pause photo incontournable sous le portique majestueux de l’école, les élèves se sont rendus en file indienne vers le lieu de la cérémonie, où leurs familles les attendaient avec impatience.
La direction et les professeurs ont pris la parole pour saluer le parcours, la croissance et la maturité de cette belle promotion. Les élèves avaient également préparé des discours sur leur histoire à Rochambeau, puis ils ont chanté avec ferveur les hymnes nationaux de la France et des USA, suivi de chants inspirants sur leur transition scolaire. Appelés un par un sur scène, chaque élève a reçu avec fierté son diplôme officiel accompagné d'un livre souvenir. Pour clore cet événement en beauté, nos jeunes diplômés ont effectué le traditionnel et spectaculaire lancer de toques, sous les acclamations et la joie partagée du public !
Un immense bravo à nos 87 diplômés ! Nous leur souhaitons une excellente continuation au secondaire. Un grand merci également aux équipes pédagogiques et aux parents pour leur précieux soutien tout au long de cette année.

Next Stop: Middle School! An Unforgettable Celebration for our CM2 students (5th Graders)
The big day finally arrived for our 87 CM2 students! It was a moment of incredible pride as we celebrated their important transition to middle school. Here is a look back at a day filled with beautiful traditions and bright smiles.
First Steps into a New Chapter
Gathered in their classrooms alongside their teachers, our future middle schoolers proudly put on their brand-new Rochambeau ties for the very first time, a sharp new look they will wear for special events and field trips in the secondary school. They also donned their graduation caps, looking head-to-toe like the young graduates they are. Those who have been with us since PS received the special "Rochambeau Forever" golden sash.
A Memorable Hallway Parade
Then, the grand procession began! Our young graduates paraded through the building, marching all the way from the 4th floor down to the 2nd floor. They walked through the hallways to roaring applause and admiring glances from their younger peers in Kindergarten through CM1 (4th grade).
As they stepped outside the building, a wonderful surprise awaited them: our beloved school mascot was ready and waiting to greet them with high-fives and warm hugs!
The Official Ceremony: Congratulations to our Graduates!
After pausing for a classic group photo under the school’s portico, the students marched in a single line to the ceremony where their families were eagerly waiting.
The leadership and faculty took the stage to share heartfelt speeches, celebrating the growth, achievements, and maturity of this wonderful class. The students also shared their Rochambeau stories, then sang French and U.S. National Anthems, and also inspiring graduation-themed songs. Called up to the stage one by one, each student proudly received their official diploma and a commemorative book. To close the celebration in style, our young graduates took part in the traditional and spectacular cap toss, much to the delight of the cheering audience!
Congratulations to our 87 graduates! We wish them the absolute best as they start their middle school journey. A warm thank you to our wonderful teachers, staff, and parents for their incredible support throughout this milestone year.
