Toutes nos félicitations à Charlotte Garay Penedo, élève de CM1, lauréate de l’édition 2021-2022 de la compétition internationale Golden Classical Music Awards (catégorie Junior). Elle a présenté Etude Espagnole de Catherine Rollin. En remportant ce prix, Charlotte s'est qualifiée pour présenter son morceau au Carnegie Hall à New York en juillet. Quel honneur incroyable pour cette jeune musicienne !

Charlotte a fait ses débuts au piano à l'âge de 4 ans et demi et pratique environ 3 heures par semaine, et parfois plus quand elle se prépare pour un concours musical comme celui-ci. Interrogée à savoir ce que représentait le piano pour elle, Charlotte a répondu qu'elle appréciait sa mélodie, son rythme et la façon dont il lui fait voir la vie.  

Bravo à Charlotte et nous lui souhaitons beaucoup de succès lors de sa performance au Carnegie Hall cet été.

Congratulations to Charlotte Garay Penedo, a 4th grade student who earned First Prize in the 2022 "Golden Classical Music Awards" International Competition (Junior Category). She performed Etude Espagnole by Catherine Rollin. By winning this award, she qualified to perform her piece at Carnegie Hall in New York in July. What an incredible honor for this young musician!

Charlotte began studying piano at 4 1/2 years old and regularly practices 3 hours a week - and even more when she is preparing for a competition like this one. When we asked Charlotte what she enjoys about playing the piano, she told us how she likes "the melody, speed and how it makes you think about life."
