National Honor Society chapter

Rochambeau Chapter of the National Honor Society

 

Rochambeau is excited to announce the members of the inaugural Rochambeau Chapter of the National Honor Society. Sixteen students have been selected by the Faculty Council based on their academic achievement, and high standards of service, leadership, and character.

As members of NHS, these students will now engage in a number of individual and chapter service projects and serve as leaders and role models for the Rochambeau student body.

Kristen Carter, University Counselor, is serving as the NHS Advisor. The Faculty Council includes Ashley Cole, Director of University Counseling; Will Murphy, English Language Program Manager; Guy Nicholson, Math Teacher; Sandra Percy, History & Geography Teacher; and Barbara Zappe, English Teacher.

NHS is the nation’s oldest and best-known student recognition program and was founded in 1921 by the National Association of Secondary School Principals.

 

The Rochambeau Chapter of the National Honor Society is pleased to announce the 2020-2021 officers:

  • Secretary/Historian: Ria Utz (T)
  • Parliamentarian: LilyClaire Bolan-Campbell (T)

Officers were elected by the chapter members at the first meeting of the year.

 


 

Division Rochambeau de la National Honor Society

 

Rochambeau est ravi d'annoncer les membres de la première division Rochambeau de la National Honor Society. Seize élèves ont été sélectionnés par le Conseil de la Faculté sur la base de leurs résultats scolaires et de leurs grandes qualités en matière de dévouement, de leadership et de comportement.

En tant que membres du NHS, ces élèves vont maintenant s'engager dans un certain nombre de projets de services bénévoles et représentent ainsi des guides et modèles pour le corps étudiant de Rochambeau.

Kristen Carter, conseillère universitaire, fait office de conseillère du NHS.
