November is a time to express our gratitude to all around us. This month honors the generosity of our community, including our families, faculty and staff, alumni, and those we support through their annual fund donations.

What is Giving Tuesday?

Giving Tuesday began in 2012 with the simple goal of inspiring acts of kindness. It has since grown into a global movement that encourages volunteering, donating money and goods, and genuinely caring for our communities.

WHY GIVE? As an independent school Rochambeau is a fully self-funded non-profit school. Tuition and other sources of revenue provide a financial anchor, but do not cover the full cost of the investments we make in our students and our community each year. To consistently meet the needs of our students and expectations of our community, we need your support! As a non-profit school, gifts to Rochambeau are tax deductible to the fullest extent allowed by law.

What is the Annual Rochambeau Fund?

The ANNUAL FUND includes gifts made annually to support essential projects. These donations help provide for the expenses that exceed the income from tuition alone. Parents, grandparents, teachers, staff, alumni, and friends of Rochambeau all support the Annual Fund.

Your contribution will support vital education programs, infrastructure, STEM, athletics, campus beautification, and sustainability initiatives to ensure Rochambeau remains a premier educational environment. While we invite families to pledge $500, every contribution, whether it is $50, $100, or more. Each gift makes a significant impact towards reaching our goal of $150,000 this year.

Two new science labs in the High School Forest campus

What is Giving Tuesday: The month of giving started in 2012 when a New York-based nonprofit cultural and community center created #GivingTuesday to highlight the charitable season.

Since then, it has evolved into a global celebration throughout the month of November of volunteering your time, donating money and goods, and truly making our communities better.

For Rochambeau, this is a wonderful way to show your support for our school and community. Please share with family and friends, as many are looking to donate to a cause they can feel good about!

Did you know that many companies offer matching gift programs that can double the impact of your donations?

This is why Rochambeau is registered with several corporate giving platforms, such as Benevity, YourCause, CyberGrants, GrantConnect, American Charities, FrontDoor. We are also open to exploring other solutions with your company.

Last year, we received matching from AstraZeneca, Constellations, Google, Fiserv, Pew Trust Foundation.
