Back to School BBQ 2026

Get ready for a delicious BBQ feast and a sustainable experience!
We'll be serving up mouthwatering merguez (halal), hot dogs, crispy French fries, and tasty vegetarian options like frittata, salads, and cheese. We’ll have Nespresso, beer, and wine available for purchase. Save room for dessert! Enjoy a fresh, crisp apple for a lighter treat, or stop by the PAR table for ice cream and popsicles, generously provided by PAR to treat our kids and families!

Let’s keep it green! For a more sustainable event, please bring your water bottle to refill at the event. If needed, we’ll provide paper cups to reuse throughout the day. 

Bring your appetite, your picnic blanket and join us for a fun, flavorful, and eco-friendly day!

We will be organizing our traditional soccer matches during the Back-to-School Barbecue.

They will take place at Maplewood Field from 10 a.m. to 12:30 p.m.

Families, teachers, administrative staff, alumni, coaches, you are all welcome!

Swing by the Rochambeau Boutique, find "la perle rare" at the RochamBooks Used Book Fair, and explore booths to meet our amazing partners: PAR, Washington Accueil Association, Luncheras Di Si, and Bonjour Books.

It's also still time to order your 25-26 Yearbook and pick it up at the event ;)

Spots fill up quickly at Maplewood.

There will also be a shuttle running every 15 minutes from the Grosvenor Metro Station between 10:30 AM to 2:30 PM.
