Grandparents & Extended Family

Grandparents, extended family, and other special friends are warmly welcomed to be part of our school and community events. From our International Food Festival to Spring Fair, and our Holiday Concerts to our Spring Theater and Musical performances, our doors are open to you!

A highlight of our year is our "Grandparents and Special Friends Day" when our preschool and elementary students extend a special invitation to visit our Maplewood campus. This is a beautiful moment for grandparents and special friends to share their school experiences and create new memories together.

Welcome Grandparents and Special Friends!

We are excited to welcome you to Rochambeau, The French International School, for our 2026 Grandparents & Special Friends Day on Friday, April 10.

Schedule & Arrival:

• TPS/Pre-K2, PS/Pre-K3, MS/Pre-K4, GS/K, and CP/1st grades: Registration begins at 8:45 AM
• CE1/2nd, CE2/3rd, CM1/4th and CM2/5th: Registration begins at 10:15 AM. 
• Upon arrival, you will be directed to the Blue Gym for coffee and light refreshments at the start of the program.
• Please remember to wear comfortable shoes.

Parking & Drop-Off:

• Follow the directions by our traffic staff for parking guidance.
• If you are visiting a child in TPS, PS, or MS, we encourage you to bring the child to school in the morning to help reduce traffic congestion. Please ensure the parent has entered your name in SchoolPass.
• Students who are required to take the bus must take the bus as usual.

End Time:

• TPS/Pre-K2, PS/Pre-K3, MS/Pre-K4, GS/K, and CP/1st :The event concludes at 10:30 AM, unless you are also attending the next session starting at 10:45 AM.
• CE1/2nd, CE2/3rd, CM1/4th and CM2/5th: The event concludes at noon.
