Winter Fair clone
What is the Winter Fair?
This year, we're celebrating a special milestone for Rochambeau: our faculty, staff, students, and families now come from 80+ countries! The Winter Fair is our largest event of the year and an important opportunity to bring together our international, multicultural community. We hope to entertain 600 visitors and raise over $15,000 to support our school on this one day alone!
At the Fair, you'll be able to:
- Savor different cuisines: Our World Cafe offers meals from most regions of the world, all donated by Rochambeau families and local businesses.
- Create arts and crafts: Our World Atelier encourages students to make holiday crafts from various heritage traditions. Think Polish spinning tops, Mexican Felt Poinsettias, and Japanese origami cranes!
- Listen to folk stories: Our World Storytellers Corner will feature tales and legends from worldwide holidays, including Christmas, Hannukah, Ramadan, Diwali, and beyond!
- Buy used books: Our Used Book Sale will have books in many different languages, all donated by the Rochambeau community
